OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's men's soccer team knocked off Oklahoma Christian 1-0 on Saturday night.

Damon Ellis, a freshman from Chester-Le-Street, England, scored the only goal in the match in the 12th minute. OCU, ranked fourth in the NAIA, improved to a record of 13-1, 5-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

Stephen Sheffield, a senior from Jacksonville, Texas, provided the assist.

Goalkeeper Andy Fitzpatrick, a sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., led the Stars' defense with five saves in the match. OCU's defense kept Oklahoma Christian to only six shots in the match.

The Stars will take on USAO on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Chickasha, Okla.
